Our Podiatrists

Our professional team of podiatrists have many years of experience and are highly skilled in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of foot and lower limb conditions.

Our podiatrists are registered with The Podiatry Board of Australia through AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency) and most of them are members of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW). Our clinic practices the strict codes, standards and guidelines set by the Podiatry Board which includes continuing professional development and adhering to compulsory guidelines on infection control set out by the NSW Department of Health.

Principal Podiatrist and practice owner Jonathan Chan has practised podiatry with more than 10 years in the public hospital system in Hong Kong. He has extensive clinical experience in managing various podiatric conditions. His interest in sports related injuries led him to complete a Masters degree in Sports Medicine & Health Sciences in 2012. Jonathan speaks fluent English, Cantonese & Mandarin.

Helen (Hing) Chu has been practicing podiatry since 2008. Helen has extensive clinical podiatry experience in all aspects of podiatry and has worked in both public hospitals and private podiatry practice for over 13 years. As Helen's passion is in the geriatric field, she completed a Master degree at the University of Sydney majoring in Gerontology in 2012. Helen also currently practice at Myhealth Zetland Medical Practice every Monday, and JH St Leonards Podiatry every Tuesday to Thursday. Helen also provides visiting podiatry service at the Lady Davidson Hospital and home visits.

Louise McMullen graduated with a Diploma of Applied Science (Podiatry) in 1986 and joined the practice in early 2015. Louise has a vast experience in podiatry after working across both the public and private sector.

Svetla Wilmott has been working in the health industry for over 20 years, initially as a physiotherapist and more recently as a podiatrist. Svetla enjoys all aspects of podiatry but has a particular interest in diabetic related foot complications, sports injuries, biomechanics and nail surgery. Working in both private practice and nursing homes has provided Svetla with experience in many sectors of podiatry.

Rebecca Walker initially worked at the clinic in 2002 for an extensive period and we are very happy that she has returned and now fulfills a vital home visiting role at the practice.

Duyen (Ying) completed her Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle in 2016 and has since had the opportunity to have experience in working in different varying private practice settings. Duyen has previously practiced as a Diversional Therapist in aged care facilities, which has provided her the stepping stones to be an empathetic communicator.
She believes education is integral to best health outcomes. She hopes to have you leave an appointment with her; with more knowledge in your pocket, and to empower you to achieve long-term health goals and benefits for your feet.
Outside of work, Duyen enjoys keeping active through exploring Sydney's walks and beaches with her furry friend Rupert.
